One Direction are too darn cute!
I love my snuggle bugle nights with my three boys, Matt, Odin and Ernie! My wonderful husband made dinner while I worked out! Took care of me and my son! Now that is a good husband. He knows how to make his wife happy!
Happy Wife equals Happy Life! He would do anything to keep me happy. Having a good support group is the key to success! I don't know what I would do with him! I sure hope that everyone has awesome people surrounding them like I do :)
I did HIIT 15 and Stretch 10 tonight for day two of week one of Turbo Fire and if was so super fun! I can't wait till I have all the moves down and I can get a little groovy with it! Right now I look more like a crazy woman. I do love starting something new, but sort of hate it too! I sort of feel like I need to be working out more than just 15 minutes! I like following schedules to a tee, but I need to supplement more until I am up there in the longer work outs! So I am going to run and focus on eating clean! 80% right.... I do wish it was the other way around, but what am I going to do.
Can't change what the truth is! Food fuels our bodies. I think people forget that sometimes! I work at a place that has a fantastic cafe with equal amounts of healthy and unhealthy options.... Want to take a guess what most people chose???? If you guessed healthy you must live in a cave. I mean they really pick unhealhty! One day this week I went in for a plate (I pack!) and a lady had a slice of pizza, side of onion rings and a piece of cake with a GIANT soda! Now this would be almost ( I mean almost!!!) okay if this was a once in a life time lunch.... but this is a five days a week sort of thing! Wow... It totally floors me! Mostly because my work also provides free wellness screenings once a year. They take our blood, weight, Blood pressure etc and we get confidential results in the mail. Sugar, cholesterol thyroid levels, vitamins etc
I can tell you I have improved my levels with so many things since I started working for Olympus! When I started my cholesterol was way high like 220 and now its way under 200!!! Go me! I wish my cafe had signs next to the crap food that says." This is bad and full of sodium. This will make you hungry in less then an hour. This will raise your blood sugar WAY out of wack or simply, this will make your Butt look big!" and of course a HUGE sign that says" HEY DON'T FORGET TO EAT YOUR VEGETABLES! "and no French Fries do not count!

Lights In the Parkway! ON FOOT!
Tonight I started Turbo Fire! I could not be more excited to be on a new work out program! Do not get me wrong I loved Insanity The Asylum and am excited to do it again in the future! I know I will be doing them before my Sparton race in July. But I was ready to move on.
I did Fire 30 and stretch 10 and realized I really really really should have done the New to Class option. I was quite sloppy! I know that in time I will know those moves so well I will be doing them in my sleep! I loved the 10 minute stretch! I mean LOVED it! I use to hate stretching and since I have had several injuries I have learned to love it! Feels so good!
My work is launching a new group called The Tough group. I am very interested in being apart of this team. I can't say much about it now, because I don't really know enough now but it is going to involve organizing group 5Ks, boot camp work outs, Tough Mudder's etc. Right up my alley! Very exciting stuff happening!
I can't wait to do Turbo Fire again tomorrow and I eat healthy! I am super excited to know that I will be running a 5k with the VP of my department later this month so I am going to be running in a park near you!

Go ahead and make it a good day!
Oh the lessons we learn (over and over and over again!) While I was without power, I did TRY to eat well and work out and I would say that was a half-ass effort! I tried! I did learn though. Crappy food, well, makes you feel Crappy. You have no idea how awful I felt the few days I was without power! I was craving a healthy salad or some other health meal so bad I could almost taste it!
I went to the store and bought like a zillion vegetables! And I am back on track! My son got sick at school today, so I had to leave work early. So I am still not feeling 100% in the swing of things but it did allow me to to get in a KILLER work out and make a KILLER grocery list!
Today I did gameday and overtime. That is just over a 70 minutes of an INSANE work out! Game day is tough. Some of the sports are not to bad, but when it gets to Rock Climbing... holy cow! THEN overtime... I have never had ten minutes with moves that I can't do a single one! I try and will eventually be able to but as for right now.... it is a huge challenge! BUT I LOVE a challenge! Below is one of the moves, I ALMOST got down!
I am going to take a second to say that losing our power was nothing compared to the devastation that others have been threw. I pray for all of their safely and homes to be rebuilt! Just remember that you do have a good life and everyday you have the opportunity to make it better!
